Therapeutic Services
Providing guided growth to children, teens, and adults.
Child Therapy
MFB_THERAPY offers therapeutic services for children ages 8-12.
In Child-Centered Therapy, sessions are tailored to meet the developmental and emotional needs of the child. Sessions will often incorporate a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play-based, and art interventions. Since a child’s primary form of communication is through play, the therapy process differs significantly from adult therapy. Play allows children to express their emotions, explore experiences, and process challenges in ways that feel natural and safe to them.
Parents and caregivers should note that patience is crucial throughout this therapeutic journey. Progress may take time as children gradually build trust, develop coping skills, and learn to articulate their feelings. Supporting a child in this process involves understanding that their growth and healing happen at their own pace.
Teen Therapy
MFB_THERAPY offers teens an environment of safety, acceptance, and empathic understanding.
Sessions focus on empowering teens as they navigate adolescence and the complexities of growing up. This phase of life is often marked by rapid emotional, social, and physical changes, which can sometimes leave parents feeling like their teen has transformed overnight.
Therapy can help teens build coping skills, and address unique challenges such as self-identity, peer relationships, academic pressures, and mental health concerns. For parents, Teen Therapy can also offer guidance on rebuilding connection, fostering communication, and understanding their child’s evolving needs. Teen Therapy can help bridge gaps and support healthier relationships.
Adult Therapy
MFB_THERAPY for emerging adults focuses on supporting young individuals as they navigate the exciting, yet often overwhelming, transition into adulthood. This stage, typically marked by significant life changes such as starting college, entering the workforce, or exploring independence, can bring about a mix of opportunities and challenges.
Therapy sessions for emerging adults can address issues like managing stress, building self-confidence, improving time management, forming healthy relationships, and finding clarity in career or life goals. It provides a safe space for young adults to explore their identity, cope with uncertainties, and develop the skills needed to thrive during this transformative period.
